Key Requirements
- Substation commissioning documentation experience
- Familiarity with utility record-room certification requirements
- Competence with standard, locally-calibrated test instruments (Omicron, Megger, Phoenix, and equivalent)
- Working knowledge of substation protection, control, interlocking, and SCADA/SCMS principles
- Sound command of written and spoken English
- Ability to prepare and close out test documentation to client format
- Commitment to HSE discipline and safe systems of work
- Familiarity with permit-to-work and method-statement / risk-assessment practice
Required Tickets & Certifications
- TAQA approval for the relevant discipline, or clear eligibility and readiness to obtain TAQA approval prior to mobilisation
- Degree or diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Valid passport with adequate validity
- Medically fit for site deployment in the Western Region climate
- Availability to mobilise on or about 1 December 2026 for the project duration
