Intermediate Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (or higher)

Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension based on project commissioning schedules and performance. Mobilization in Q4 2026 onwards, preferred start date by end of October 2026.

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Mechanical Commissioning Engineers (or higher) to join their dynamic team. This role involves contributing to the successful deployment and optimization of state-of-the-art data centre infrastructure in Malaysia, ensuring mechanical systems operate efficiently, reliably, and to the highest industry standards, supporting the backbone of the digital economy.

Key Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in commissioning.

Required Tickets & Certifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Controls Engineering is preferred. Candidates with relevant degrees in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrable expertise in the commissioning of various mechanical systems, including but not limited to: HVAC Systems, Chiller Systems and associated plant, Building Management Systems (BMS), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Fuel Systems (e.g., diesel generators, fuel storage and delivery), Fire Protection Systems.
