Key Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with the commissioning of HV substation equipment (e.g., GIS/AIS switchgear, power transformers, protection relays, SCADA systems, control & automation).
- Strong electrical background with deep understanding of power systems, protection philosophies, and control systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
- Familiarity with relevant international and local standards and regulations for HV substations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective stakeholder management.
Required Tickets & Certifications
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with more than 15 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager or a senior commissioning role specifically on High Voltage (HV) Substation projects.
- Malaysian citizenship is required for this position.
