LV Protection & Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LV Protection & Maintenance Engineer to lead on-site activities for critical infrastructure projects in industries such as power generation and data centres. This role involves being the technical authority on-site, responsible for comprehensive maintenance and health-checks of advanced LV air circuit breakers, specifically Hyundai HiAN50 models, and supervising a team of technicians to ensure high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Requirements

Proficiency in using manufacturer-compatible HiAN50 trip-unit software and interface for reading, configuring, and retrieving event history.
Comprehensive understanding and adherence to LV electrical safety protocols, LOTO procedures, verification of absence of voltage, and safe switchgear maintenance practices.
Ability to accurately interpret protection settings, manufacturer torque values, and acceptance criteria.
Exceptional technical reporting skills, capable of producing clear, concise, and actionable documentation.
Strong awareness of calibration traceability for all test instruments used.
Hands-on experience in the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of Low Voltage (LV) air circuit breakers and their electronic trip units.
In-depth experience with Hyundai HiAN50 breakers or closely comparable Hyundai LV ACBs and their electronic trip units.
Extensive practical experience with contact-resistance, insulation-resistance, and primary/secondary current injection testing methodologies.

Required Tickets & Certifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent recognized technical qualification.
Possession of a valid passport.
Medically fit for demanding site work environments in Saudi Arabia.
