Cx Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical

We are a specialist staffing firm connecting top-tier talent with critical infrastructure projects. This opportunity is for experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join elite commissioning teams for marquee, hyperscale data centre projects across Malaysia. This project-based contract role offers flexibility, exposure to state-of-the-art facilities, and a crucial part in ensuring the successful and safe operational readiness of critical data centre infrastructure.

Key Requirements

Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling methodologies, BMS/DCIM, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and protocols related to data centre commissioning (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, BICSI).
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team on an "on-call" or project-by-project basis, responding to site intervention requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Proactive approach to issue resolution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with various stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to various project sites across Malaysia as required for interventions.

Required Tickets & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in commissioning, testing, and balancing of complex M&E systems, specifically within data centres or similar critical infrastructure environments.
