Key Requirements
- Proven, verifiable track record leading substation commissioning projects at 132 kV and above.
- Demonstrable experience with utility documentation regimes and client-specific reporting formats.
- Competence with standard test instruments (e.g., Omicron, Megger, Phoenix, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of substation protection, control, interlocking, and SCADA/SCMS principles.
- Strong coordination and reporting ability across multiple disciplines and OEM interfaces.
- Familiarity with permit-to-work and method statement/risk assessment practices.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Unwavering commitment to HSE discipline and safe systems of work.
Required Tickets & Certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- TAQA approval for the relevant discipline, or proven eligibility and readiness to obtain it prior to mobilisation.
- Valid passport.
- Medically fit for site deployment in the Western Region climate.
